Hi All,
I thought things were getting too quiet here and wanted to start a discussion to reinvigorate us for term 4. I hope, like me, you have added our Ning to a reader and that you are able to keep up with the discussions that do occur. (If not, do it now!!)
Anyway, during a recent technology-focused conference I had lots of people compliment my school's insight when they learned I was the teacher-librarian. Comments suggested that T-Ls are still considered a crucial part of school change and technology integration. It was great to be made away of this underlying belief amongst teachers and admin alike. However, this belief also brings responsibility. My discussion topic then is: what do you do to foster this belief in your school? How closely do you work with IT teachers and others to incorporate technology and develop curriculum. Perhaps we can learn from each other?
