I can't get into Lively either but a few of my plurk and twitter pals are raving about it! I think I'll wait until the bugs are ironed out too!

Well I've had no luck downloading Lively yet. It's still so new there appears to be a lot of bugs in it and no moderator/assistance responding to anyone on the forums. I think I'll give them a few more weeks/months before I try again.

So maybe 2nd life is the way to go for the moment. I'll look for you when I get there =)

Hi Cathy, Great to hear from you!
The above balloon ride was part of a newbie tour of Jokaydia, a great place for educators on Second Life. I am intrigued by the whole virtual reality concept I must admit but I am still watching from the sidelines. Some sites of interest to you might be:
http://jokaydia.com
and
http://secondclassroom.ning.com

I am Bookjewel Frog on Second Life and would love to "meet' you there if you want to have a look around. However, be aware that I am still learning myself!

I think I sent you a message instead of a comment so excuse the repetition.
I was just asking about your experiences with second life ... are you just getting into it or been involved for a while? I've been toying with the idea and yesterday looked at Google's version called Lively
I don't actually know anyone else who's involved in 2nd Life so would be interested to hear of your experiences.
