We are a P-12 Library at a Christian College on the outskirts of Melbourne. We are a 'tad' tight for space, but the view from the windows over the rolling hills makes up for some of it.
About Me:
I have been teaching since 1978 (yes, I'm old) in schools and adult ed. I am new to the TL world - a few years ago I decided to do my MEd (TL) and branch off into the world of info lit and literature ... it's wonderful! My HUGE challenge now is to make the Web2 world part of my everyday life ... gulp!
I have a hubby, 2 adult kids and a couple of cats.
When I'm not teaching, I love to read and quilt.
Don't be modest...list two strengths you bring to the role of teacher-librarian:
I don't mind working LONG hours (I'm not quite a work-a-holic, but I think I'm close) ... or is it that I have an insatiable lust for learning new things???
I am passionate about the need to help kids learn to learn in the world of information overload - and I'm willing to learn along with them.
How large is your library team?
There are 4 of us in the Library. 2 part-time TLs - Primary (myself) and Secondary - a full time Librarian and a part time tech.

Welcome, Angela. I also became a T-L after years of classroom teaching. It's fun, isn't it? Also very isolating and challenging. Those rolling hills sound nice...I crave a view of any type. My library's a bit dark and flat.
